Project Overview
Powearth (representing Pollution, Weather, and Energy) is a UI/UX concept design built to address environmental degradation and climate change. The system aims to build public awareness and encourage eco-friendly habits by offering air quality maps, carbon calculations, and planting incentives.
The design won 3rd Place at the SIFEST (System Information Festival) UI/UX Competition held by Fasilkom Sriwijaya University (HIMSI) in 2023.
Concept Pillars & Features
- Afforestation (Planting Incentives): Gamifies environmental protection by letting users log physical tree planting, earning badges and social credits.
- Air Quality Status Map (Pollution & Weather): Features clean visual metrics displaying real-time AQI (Air Quality Index) conditions across target cities.
- Carbon Use Calculator: Logs mileage of private and gasoline-powered vehicles, computing daily carbon emissions and recommending mass-transit alternatives.
- Eco-Educational Hub: Provides interactive cards, tips, and infographics about pollution, renewable energy, and climate preservation.
Design Highlights
- Aesthetics: Uses a clean, modern dark/green palette reflecting eco-tech trends.
- Design System: Built completely in Figma, leveraging robust auto-layout configurations, reusable components, and interactive prototypes.
